Research approach

Synchronized ECG, PPG and skin conductance with craving ratings during VR stimuli in 11 patients with alcohol use disorder. Analyzed individual correlations with heart rate, HRV, pulse transit time and skin-conductance responses.

Results

Selected 25 candidate features from individual correlations. ECG- and PPG-derived heart-rate and NN-interval measures were prominent, with differences in response magnitude and direction across participants.
